As the theme is to speak on issues that bring about changes which adversely affects our lives, then we ought to start with ourselves and likewise teach our children to do the right things from an early age so that they can copy our examples.

The video of Apostle James Nganga and many others in the Ministry, have left us wondering and lost for words as there was nothing worthwhile to learn from it. After all the teaching Jesus did and the agony of what he had to face for everyone to get a second chance to Salvation, it was something not expected from a man of God to narrate his ordeals to a congregation.

As Jesus followers and a better-equipped generation of believers, we have to take a stand to shine lights into the darkness. Darkness will always be in the world until the second coming of our Lord and Saviour JESUS CHRIST. But those who have received the word in accordance with Jesus teachings, they should exercise it to show and set an example to others.

Faith comes by hearing and reading the word of God see Romans 10:17. Therefore, as our children grow up hearing, seeing and reading the word, they will understand better and use it for their spiritual growth than satisfying a now physical growth which is growing like a wildfire in the dry season but with no substance for spiritual mind.

I feel for our children and the generations to come. I am a mother and like in all humans, nothing and no one is perfect but we have to do all we can, to teach and show  them that there are better ways and things are not as hard as they may appear to be or as they are put . Jesus is doing it as an example to the Israelites and the generations to come by simplifying the ten commandments into two for them to understand and apply to them all without the burdens of “Thou’s”.

If our children grow up knowing these two commandments, they will have a better world not “without darkness but with more lights’.

Jesus declared, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. (See Matthew 22:38).

With these on their hearts, 1: There will be no jealousy, envy, or any other form that cause pain to them or someone else. 2: If they grow up loving their neighbor as they love themselves, they will be happy for them and their families. They will respect their property and everything in their property wives, husbands, children and animals.

All the worldly things are here and will always be here but, Do you have to lose your soul to have them? The choice is yours.

Joshua declared “And as for Me and my Family we shall serve God” (see Joshua24;15)He made a stand for him and his family because he knew it was the most important in the long-run than having many so-called friends. Again the choice is ours. To choose God and His Kingdom or world and its Kingdom. We have a free CHOICE.

Our children are in danger of DYING TWICE. There are two forms of deaths to my understanding. A physical death (which most of us will go through because Matthew16:28  says some will not taste death until He comes)and Eternal death. This is the final and last one with everyone and no turning back.

So, when we don’t correct our children when they do wrong while being aware they are wrong or when we side with them in wrongdoing justifying as love, then “we are killing them twice”.

This verse tells me there are two forms of death. ‘For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life’ see John 3:16. Eternal life (final no end Period).

My brothers and Sisters, we can do better. Let’s give our children the gift of God. Teach them and leave it to God to manifest it to them through the help of “Holy spirit our Comforter on the right time when He is ready for them”

This we all Have and He is with us Always.“If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever. (See John 14:15-31)

In the book of Deuteronomy, God is advising the Israelites to teach their children because it was important  for them to know HIM.”Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up” See Deuteronomy 11:19

Being a parent, a teacher or caregiver is a responsibility people should take seriously and ask God to help them, to guide them in actions and to strengthen them do the right thing because if they just say“whatever” God will hold them accountable for knowing and letting that child or that person to suffer.

Money is a necessary tool to help one to get from A to B but a physical gratification and hurting someone to acquire it not only put them and their families in a curse but also put them away from pleasing God. Leave your family with a legacy for prosperity through God provisions and protection and not damnation.

As I worked in the healthcare sector for many years, I have seen and heard a lot and many of you will recall that one wonderful teacher or teachers who exactly showed you exactly how it is done…. Or you may have met with the bad type like I did, who made many to lose interest in a subject or a sport they might have excelled in.

All are here and have always been there from the beginning of time but like Joshua took a stand and changed the standard of their normalcy or in case of Jesus showing the Bethany community and all His followers “is not about the power He possessed or what he could have done but what His (OUR) Heavenly Father is CAPABLE OF as He addresses Him with acknowledgment and adorations.”

‘FATHER, “For the sake of these people “Open their eyes and hearts” (my thoughts as I visualize Jesus pleading with His Heavenly Father for them) that they may understand and have confidence in their “our” Heavenly Father ABILITIES.

Here, again the initial action had to be taken and that is the tone Jesus used throughout his teachings.

Even during that time, people knew about God through what was happening and what they had heard but just like today’s world, not in their hearts and their doings, therefore; He sent Jesus to show them and all others who came after Him the way to the FATHER.

Some Churches have become the breeding grounds for gossip and many other ungodly things, but Churches should be the buildings set apart for GLORIFYING GOD ONLY. Therefore; “HOLY PLACE WITH GOD’S PRESENCE”.

Believers should go to Church to receive the word and to increase their faith by seeing or hearing the Praises of their Heavenly father WONDERS upon them and their families and The Church is “YOU’.  “Jesus lives in your heart”. know this and be happy.

So, going to church should be for all believers to come together in acknowledgment for another day and for GOD UNFAILING LOVE upon them and their families as they all lift Him up together in joyful celebrations of worship and adoration.

Hence; a place of gathering as we acknowledge and encourage each other to continue to do our best for God’s Glory and not a place of torture but, brothers and sisters should be a place of celebration,.. not a punishment.

Here, is a continuation to really see what took place in Bethany. Mary, Martha, the Community and all the surrounding towns have heard the news about Lazarus and thought that they had lost him forever.

Now, Jesus knows the truth but the community and the sisters, don’t understand and even though Jesus could have done it, It would have been useless if all those people did it, see it happen, and the way he showed it.

therefore; after Jesus ordered for the stone to be removed the following happened for our example as His followers to see.

Then Jesus looked upward and said, “Father, I thank you for hearing me. 42I know that you always hear me, but I have said this for the sake of the crowd standing here, so that they may believe that you sent me.” Read the whole ofJohn chapter11 to get. Oh! thank you, Jesus!!  for reviewing this to us.

This verse takes us to another verse in. Matthew 16:23. Where Peter is doing the best to support and side with his friend and teacher Jesus, right before his final journey from Earth to Heaven.

What I love about this verse, is that Jesus didn’t see Peter in physical human form but as Satan. Not that he was calling him that or referring him to a devil or satan, but show the enemy who had taken his form or rather gotten into Peter’s body.

But Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to Me. For you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men.”24Then Jesus told His disciples, “If anyone wants to come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.

Here you have the right to put it whichever way you choose, but according to me, I see Jesus telling us that a time will come when the enemy will try everything to get to you.

He comes through people or things we are familiar with and we have to be able to decipher which is which as we use his example to dismantle the enemy without judgments or hates.

Thank you for reading.
