We may not succeed in the war on corruption in Kenya when churches are too busy competing with corrupt people and in a way worshiping and praising those same individuals pretending to be holier than thou.

Some churches have been turned into dens of exploiting the poor and deceiving them with non-existent healing miracles while making them believe that divine intervention into anything one desires in life is only through tithing.

Prophet Oduor deceiving act of raising a woman from the dead and when real death strike to the same woman, and evade her funeral is just despicable and further proving that he is a prophet of doom and despair.

The poor fall for the easy fake (self  baptized I and my wife churches) pastors traps and spend all they have to only make them to live a lavish life full of big vehicles while living in big glass mansions constructed by the same poor people’s hard earned money.

1.They have sunk deep into corruption, as in the days of Gibeah. God will remember their wickedness and punish them for their sins.

2. Isaiah 1:4 Woe to the sinful nation, a people whose guilt is great, a brood of evildoers, children given to corruption! They have forsaken the LORD; they have spurned the Holy One of Israel and turned their backs on him.

3. Galatians 6:8  because the person who sows to his own flesh will reap corruption from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.

Proverbs 29:2 “When the righteous increase, the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, the people groan.”

It is all in the bible and with the few above example you can conclude that corruption has been in existence for a very long time and if we go back in history during the time of Jesus, the fall of Rome and other civilization like Babylon was mainly due to corruption.

We read that corruption was done so openly that people were not even bothered to hide it and would even joke about it.

It is now the same situation in Kenya as Corruption has spread in all sectors, from churches, schools to Government institutions.

If we begin with taxes, there are too many loopholes and nobody take any trouble to come up with better methods of collecting taxes. The Government is aware of it but since the top people in Government want to avoid paying taxes they see the loopholes and turn the other way.

They do all they can to avoid paying taxes, yet these are the same people who want to further tax the poor people.

The book of Ephesians 5:11 says: “Take no part in the unfruitful works
of darkness, but instead expose them.”

How many can do exactly that for it takes two parties to pay a bribe or receive a kickback.

Christians are supposed to react to such things when exposed to them but since they are part and parcel of corrupt dealings, they will not do it. The bible says that whoever breaks man’s laws, also breaks God’s laws (Rom 13:1-5), but who confronts the wrong doers?.

If you visit any school in Kenya, you will think that you are reading from the book of Isaiah 1:4 “Ah, sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, offspring of evildoers, children who deal corruptly!”

Corruption has even spread in schools and you find that no strict rules exist in schools anymore like back in the days. Children reporting to school drunk while others openly selling drugs to their fellow students.

Yes all sorts of immorality have been introduced in schools and all can be connected to corruption as the same children while caught and sent home are returned promptly after their parents simply bribe the heads.

There is nothing more evil than taking a human life, but the same is happening in Kenya and the evil doers later freely walking in the streets due to outright corruption. They simply bribe the judges and thus denying justice to those affected.

It is no wonder that murders are more frequent than the days people used to receive death sentence and the same to happen without delay. Children see and read these things and later grow up to do the same things for there is no severe repercussion like it used to be some years back when murder cases were taken serious and appropriate action taken.

The children are simply doing what their father and mother’s did and, even outdoing them in some cases for they can easily be bailed out.

The book of Isaiah 1:4 is where God rebukes the nation of Israel, but the same can apply to any nation whose people are laden with corruption and evil things happening.

God can repeat the same thing he did to Israel and Kenya is no exception.

Isn’t Kenya in style with the book of Proverbs 29:2 When the righteous increase the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, the people groan.

Yes we are for we have even gone back in time and are living just like it was in the beginning,

Genesis 6:5 “The Lord saw that the
wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the
thoughts of his heart was only evil continually

Hosea 9:9 “They have deeply
corrupted themselves as in the days of Gibeah; he will remember their iniquity;
he will punish their sins.”

I came to Gibeah that belongs to Benjamin, I and my concubine, to spend the night. And the leaders of Gibeah rose against me and surrounded the house against me by night. They meant to kill me, and they violated my concubine, and she is dead”

The days of Gibeah are like those we live in today’s Kenya as each day, we read of murder cases happening to young people and domestic violence on the rise.

Will people get away with sins like they are getting away with through our corrupt court system but the answer is a big NO as God “will punish their sins” and no one will get away with anything on Judgment Day (Rev 20:12-15).

It is so obvious that wicked rulers are in control and all corrupt deals are absorbed because in the first place they are corrupt as put in the bible Proverb 14:34 says “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people” and that’s what this nation and many other nations are before a holy and just God; a reproach.  The leaders are evil maybe by a judgment of God, so that he can do just like he did to the people of Babylon and Israel.

God may be using evil rulers as part of His holy judgment against the nations to fulfill the prophesies.

When a nation mock God, God will punish that nation. Today, we acclaim ourselves as a nation just like all other nations and even joining superpowers to fight terrorism, when we cannot even keep our own house in order. We should all pray to God to send repentance to this nation of Kenya so that revival can begin in the churches and spread into schools, villages, hospitals, clubs, police stations, throughout the whole country and further, spread to our neighboring countries and into the whole world.

We may say Ruto or Odinga in 2022 but it is only God that appoints Kings as per scripture: “removes kings and sets up kings,” (Dan 2:21) and a country like Kenya compared to other great nations is of no consequence to Him.

We however have faith in our God that he will soon appoint corrupt free leaders ready to serve while at the same time we may miraculously start seeing genuine spiritual leaders only interested in spreading his word to convince many to stop their bad way and lead people to fulfilling their mission on earth before the final judgment comes.

Let us not forget that, it will not be destroyed with water but just as prophesied, he will cast evil doers to the lake of fire, and those that do not repent and see the signs of the times will perish as there will be no time for repentance.

Yes with the signs of the times clearly showing man is at Zero hour.
