If the DPP don’t crack this one which is so obvious, then all cases will just be a joke as it seems that those shouting in funerals about their willingness to stamp out corruption are the same ones shielding the culprits.
Kenyans are tired of court poets and those given mandate to apprehend victims and instead of doing so they call high offices looking for guidance. Guidance that will only be selective in apprehending the culprits.
Impunity and highhandedness is killing all the cases that have enough evidence to prosecute the culprits.
If money was paid to crooks in Italy and then the same crooks parted with some of the proceeds to Government officials, then money should be recovered as contracts had performance bonds. The officials involved should step aside or sacked immediately for they will tamper with payment vouchers and interfere with prosecution.
The D.C.I. and the prosecutors should not be intimidated and should move with speed to arrest those involved big or small so that we as Kenyans can be assured that our taxes are fully utilized and allocated to the intended purpose.
Those mentioned like the CS treasury and even DP Ruto who seems to have figures in his head should be made to resign without delay.
