A sex scandal has emerged at Embu University where female students have been luring their lecturers in order to get good grades.
The Vice Chancellor Prof. Daniel Mugendi has confirmed that sex for good grades scandals have ruined the University that is striving hard to attain academic excellence.
At least 10 lecturers are currently being investigated over the scandals and if proved that they are part of evil scam, they will be suspended.
The university has to maintain its standards and if the scandal is true, they are wasting time as only half baked graduates will graduate and the same will not be able to fit into the work environment.
“This is a scaring tread and it must be condemned in the strongest words possible” he said emotionally and assured parents that he is committed to ensuring that the institution standards are maintained.
How will such graduates fit into a competitive society when they meet in the field to put their academics into practice? He posed the question that need to be given deeper thoughts as the lecturers actions are not doing good to the students but only creating more problems.
It is a sad state of affairs and if corruption has even found its way to our Universities of learning in form of sexual exploitation, it is a sad situation that needs to be addressed and those involved made to suffer for their evil actions.
