Kenyans who ignore advice are now stranded in DC desperately trying to get HUDUMA number.
They had to turn away two hundred people TODAY who will have to dig deeper into their pockets and spend a night or two in hotels. The maximum number they can register per day is 200. They have so far registered 4,200 as per the staff at the Embassy.
If HUDUMA is an identification exercise, it should not have deadlines just the same way social security number in US is….. a continuous exercise.
The Kenya Government should ensure that the e-passports and HUDUMA number registration are taken to all the States to ease the costly burden of travelling to one location.
Those who have money to waste should proceed but the smart ones must continue telling the Government boldly WE ARE NOT BOARDING.
