After scooping the Best Short Film at the Kenya Film Commission’s KALASHA Film and Television Awards 2022, Filmlab Kenya’s short film “Christmas Love” has yet again received a major boost getting airplay locally and internationally in platforms like Netflix, MyMoviesAfrica and Safaricom Baze among others.
With less than 2 weeks in some of these platforms, the film has already received great reviews for the picture, story and great acting by the star studded cast.
‘Christmas Love’ is a heartwarming Story about the Struggles of a man (Abel Mutua) trying to Balance his time between his Family (Grace Ekirapa & Neema Kawa), a lucrative Career as always reminded by his boss (Robert Burale) and his waning Faith. With help from the most unexpected place, he has to make hard Choices as he encounters the true Reason for the Season.
